What I’d Love to Have In My Next Purchase

Now, as much as I’m enjoying the Portable Ice Bath, there are a couple of things I think could be improved. First off, I’ve noticed that to keep everything clean and fresh, I need to clean the tub every three days at most. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be awesome if Recovery Boots included a specialized cleaner as a freebie. That would make maintenance a whole lot easier and more convenient.

Another thing that caught me off guard was the lid. When I first saw it, I thought it was some kind of insulator to help keep the water cold for longer. But as it turns out, it’s just a thin fitted sheet. It works fine for keeping debris out when the tub isn’t in use, but it doesn’t do much in terms of temperature retention. A more substantial, insulated lid would be a great addition, especially for those longer ice sessions where keeping the water cold is key. However, the water temp only slightly changes even after almost 5 hours.

Overall, these aren’t dealbreakers by any means, but they’re little tweaks that could take the product from good to great.
